Dr. Butner has practiced in Houston since 1977. His volunteer medical missions have included Bulgaria, Bosnia, Albania, Romania, Georgia, Iraq, Afghanistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Mongolia.
Dr. Butner is married to Carol Butner, a Houston attorney.
